The successor to the Mb415 is not just an accomplished MPEG4 player, it now comes with a camera to allow you to record live footage, as well as record MPEG4 and play back MP3 / MP4.
You can now record video at any place or time, there is no need to bring another digital video recorder with you!
Ideal for recording footage when Sky Diving, Motorbikes, Car Motorsport, Mountain Biking, Snowboarding and a whole host of other activities. And with the camera being so small, it is also ideally suited for surveillance work.
It works hands free, simply clip the camera to your shirt or collar and you can record by pressing just one button.
The picture quality is extremely good, at VGA real time, 640x480 at 30 frames per second, giving you about 2 hours recording on a 2GB memory card.
The MP415 is also a superb portable MPEG4 (Movie) and MP3 (Music) player. It fits in the palm of your hand, and has some impressive features and functions, such as a 2.5" TFT display, fold out stereo speakers! Given the size of the speakers, the sound quality is pretty good!
The MP415 comes with 128MB of internal flash memory, however this can easily be expanded to 4GB through the use of SD or MMC memory cards.
When you plug it into your PC, it also acts like a USB Flash drive, making it also ideal for backing up data, or taking vital documents home with you.
You can even connect the MP415 to a TV or DVD player, and record your favourite programmes or movies. The recording resolution is 640x480 (VGA) 30fps. You can then use the movie player to playback films or programs you have recorded or downloaded from your PC, and you can also connect the AV to a TV for playback.
There are two connection ports, USB and AV. The USB port also doubles up as a charger when connected to your PC, and the AV port auto senses AV IN / AV OUT and Earphones.
The rechargeable lithium-ion battery used in the MP415 is a standard NP-60, so if you ever need to replace it, you can get a spare easily enough.

Storage Capacity
Minox uses the cutting-edge MPEG4 format with high quality for both pictures and sound despite the comparatively small file size. A built-in 128 MB flash memory and a slot for an SD card with a storage capacity of one gigabyte which is sufficient for playing one film serve as an electronic media-depot. Voice recordings via the media recorder are automatically transferred directly to MP3 format. That provides the possibility to record music, for example, from a CD player or voices by the voice recorder function.

Mx3 Media recorder - Functions
The control switches of the MX3 grant an uncomplicated and simple handling. Control of all main functions and menu settings are placed front-and-center on the MX3, making them both ergonomic and practical. Everything is self-explanatory, with a systematic menu and unmistakable symbols on the large color display, guiding the user quickly and instinctively. Further keys are integrated at the sides of the elegant housing which can be used with a single thumb control. The MX3 functions as a removable memory device, as well. The USB interface can be used to transfer files quickly between computer and media player, while charging the Li-Ion battery. The capacity of the battery allows approximately three hours of film play.
