Video Services For Instructors

The best thing for any would be or experienced biker is decent training, from CBT right through to advanced road riding and track day / race schools.

Many of the top training schools and race academy's now use On Board Camera Systems by bikecameras.com to get the message across to the pupil so much easier than verbal instruction alone.

Its all well and good for instructors to tell the pupil they were/not doing a certain thing or didn't see a particular hazard, but many pupils after a perhaps nervous ride, will not necessarily be able to remember the point the instructor is referring to. being a good rider is one thing, but that doesnt mean you are good at remembering!  Which is where the video debrief comes in...

If the instructor is using an On Board Camera System then you can easily show the pupil what you are talking about and the words you are saying will have so much more impact and the pupil will take in what you are saying more easily.

Take a look at the following link, supplied by a top Advanced trainer, Mr Nigel Bowers of Advance Motorcycle Training.com

...'As one of only a few professionaly trained motorcycle instructors in Northern Ireland the initial purchase of a camera system for the business was more of an after thought, more a want thatn a need!  Having used the system for the first season of training, I can honestly say that it has more than paid for itself.  People like to see what they are doing as well as being told how to do it.  The system has solved many an argument and provided interesting viewing on many occasions.  Any technical questions were answered immediately and in a very professional manner.  Anyone serious about training and road safey need's to invest i none of these systems'

If you run a race academy or training school and would like us to kit out your instructors and set up a debrief area where the instructors can debrief the riders using On Board Video Footage then please contact us today to discuss

On Board Camera Systems come in various guises and set ups, from the very simple one camera system using bullet cameras or helmet cameras, or, the most popular road instruction kit is the 2 camera manual switch, along with the 2 camera Picture in Picture unit. Either of these are rigged up on the instructors bike and therefore the instructor can video the pupil from either front or behind.

In addition, if the instructor is using an Autocom system, they can now record a 'running' commentary over the video, especially useful for highlighting parts for the journey for commenting on later e.g. a potential hazard that the pupil didn't see etc

The 4 Camera System is generally used more for rigging up on the pupils bike, to show what there body parts were doing in relation to the road and traffic etc around them.
