Quality Assurance

On Board Video Systems

Where quality products & service counts

Its OBViouS - bikecameras.com

There are many suppliers of similar looking products that will try to convince you that their product is better whilst being cheaper! This is rarely the case.  Please look carefuly at the camera specifications and compare carefully.

Read genuine comments from our customers

Please do not fall into the trap of buying from the high street or internet only companies believing that the products are the same quality as ours and that they have your interests at heart!

We are not saying we are the cheapest, we are not saying that our competitors products do not work, but speak with any official CCTV company regarding image sensory and products and they will tell you that our bullet cameras are high quality.  They will also tell you the significant differance between our Sony cameras and the inferior CMOS cameras that some so called 'On Board Camera specialists' are selling.

(Internet Only Specialist = 'jumping on the bank wagon')

(Bikecameras.com = full time On Board Video System company designing & providing equipment for extreme sport and leisure industries)

Our bullet cameras are specially designed and treated for use in extreme sports and conditions, and use the latest Sony image sensory.

Not only do we design and supply On Board Video Equipment, but we also hire out our equipment at 100's of motorbike trackdays in the UK and Europe where you are welcome to meet with us to inspect our equipment and confirm the fact that we care for our name and industry and do not want these imitation companies ruining it.

To our knowledge, there is only one other supplier of equipment the same as ours in the UK/Ireland that offer the same products. That company and the products they supply are respected in the industry and by us

SUCTION CUPS

There is a site that sells suction cups as their preferred way to attach your bullet cameras.  Supposedly these have been tested to 180mph.  Its strange that that is also the published speed at which our velcro has been tested, so it does beg the question as to whether they have really been tested or not.

You will notice on their site that they have a dislaimer regardig the suction of the cups and basically, if they fall off then its down to you as you must have installed it wrongly. hmmmm

I have tried these myself on a bike and car, and personally I would never do so again

Please don't get me wrong, I know exactly where to buy these products, but there is no way i  will put the bikecameras.com name to them.

Let me explain... It is true that the suction of the very small cups is quite strong, however, at speed the air pushes the cups along.  It didn't blow them off, which is good, but, it did push them which then made the view of the camera unsatisfactory, as well as pulling on the cable.  If there had been any slight dust r dirt on the bike and car then im sure the suction cups would have caused damage.
