When I was first contacted to supply these items and I paid for some to test I thought I'd made a big mistake and thrown away a lot of money as they would surely head for the bin along with a lot of other equipment that companies ask us to sell saying they are brilliant when the reality is that they aren't and I wouldn't want to sell them to my customers as our reputation is important to us.
HOWEVER, I have been extremely surprised as to the quality of build and quality of video. Just because they are very light, small and 'look cheap' don't be fooled, these are brilliant. Waterproof to 30 metres, and when you start to use them you will understand that the only thing cheap about them is the price.
The instructions that come with it are quite basic and work well, once you have used the camera a couple of times and 'trust it' then it really is good. We recently tested on a Roller Coaster at Camelot Theme Park and they performed well, along with some in-truck and on-bike filming this week.
The co lour of the video is good, and the still images taken are at 2048 x 1536 which is very good for this type of equipment
Basically, if you want a rugged waterproof video camera that can also take excellent still images, whether for fooling around with the family, using underwater or for motor sports or extreme sport, then I would professionally and personally recommend these
